Default How many miles are too many?

Im lookin at this 88 CRX right now, and it has about 240k on the car, but only 60k on the B16 swap. It also has a salvage title but i dont why yet. New JDM front end and some new interior. But what do i have to worry about with a car with this many miles? thanks

since the chassis has 240k miles, then some of the parts (ie. suspension; bushings) could be really worn out. with regular maintenance, these hondas can last for quite a while. i saw a post on H-T a few days ago where a member had over 300k miles on his car and still running strong.

TRUE THAT!! MY 86 civic si has currently 237,xxx miles on it and still running stronger then ever. Like EJ1 said, just do your oil changes when needed, change anything thats going bad and it will run forever . This one customer at my work comes in all the time, he got a FREE New accord for having 1,000,000 miles on his accord. This was about a couple years ago. But yeah, hondas are known for miles..

Aside from suspension wear and perhaps body rust, nothing will stop a car if it's well maintained, especially if the engine has 60K on it.
