how do i install these? a friend gave me a set of fogs...theres only 2 wires a black one and yellow one...i have a civic hx to put them on...how do i do that? what wire goes to what? i just want to wire it soo it turns on when my lights are on...can anybody help me?

 

Snag a Helms manual to figure out where your headlight switch wires are. Black is probably ground, and you can pobably guess what the other wire is

A good set of fog lights can help you be more Furious. After that, you have to get NOOOOOOS for the Fast part. Just ask Toretto.

go to autozone and pick up a "pilot" fog light wiring kit

it has everything you need to install fog lights CORRECTLY
including diagrams

then you just need the positive line running into your headlight

 

All you really need is a relay, switch, and wire.

 

Yeah, if you wire them to the headlight then they turn on whenever your headlights are on, which you may or may not want to be the case. When I install mine I want to use my own seperate switch...

 

Save yourself the trouble of un-installing them and finding a new uncut front bumper down the road by NOT installing them.

 

I wouldn't install them either. I had a set on my last car until someone broke them while trying to steal them. I had a friend how had a set until they were stolen. If lighting is honestly inadequate for your driving then some brighter bulbs. Rally racing at night is the only time I could ever consider auxiliary lighting.
