How to install Autometer gauge - voltage meter?

From: ATL to SAV to ORL, USA
Shell: 93 Civic Cx
Motor: 98 GSR / OBD1 p72 ECU
Just purchased 3 gauges for the Hybrid (oil press / water temp / voltage).
Wondering how to install the voltage meter once it arrives

Personally, I would run that gauge straight to the battery's positive post.
I would prefer an accurate voltage level at the battery, and it is proven that you lose a bit of voltage going through the car's electrical system.
