Hi mates, Im very sad today. I went to intall my skunk2 pro cam gear to my D16Y8 and when I gonna fit it I found this: WTF!!!!!!





What is suposed that I have to do now? both cam and camgear are "females", but the OEM cam gear has a "male" terminal

Is there any part to buy I dont know???? Please help me!!!

 

There suppose to be a "key" that include with the purchase. It's a rectagular shape, it measures about 1/2" x 1/8". I think you should call Skunk2 and lemme know wuzzup.

 

I have no experience. But my guess would be using the same key on the crank pulley.

I see the crank key, but it doesnt fit anyway. Maybe Anyone shoul selll a specific one.

And the cam key isnt rectangular, is like a smoth triangle

 

Like I said, foolio, call Skunk2 or whoever you bought that from should provide you that key. If it's not, then your A$$ed out.

 

Well, I saw I need the infamous woodruff key. Holy Mother****ers of Skunk2!!!!! thay dont advise you that you will need it. I have to go to the Hinda dealership to find it.

 

i found keys at a local auto parts store, had to file a bit to fit but it worked...
i took a spare cam in with me and the gear, also machine shop might have it...

 

I dont know where you live but ACE hardware has all different sizes, I imagine most hardware stores / tractor supply stores carry them. Everything that is mated to a shaft has a woodruff key so they sell them just about everywhere
