how hard is the ls/vtec swap.....REALLY?
I got off the phone today with some guy from hasports, and he said i am looking at a "nightmare" to wire the ls/vtec motor in my car. Is there any company that makes a good wiring harness that will help my swap go easy? I am running a p72 obd1 ecu and swapping the motor into a 89 crx dx. Any ideas, info, or experience would greatly help me,, just want to plan on how hard this will be
it's fairly easy your better off using a pr3 or pwo reprogrammed ecu from hasport and use a non obd wiring harness from a 90-91 integra.. then move and add a couple of wires near the ecu....
I've done alot of these swaps make sure that you get a cable tranny and a 90-93 integ. main motor mount that bolts to the block!!!

what main motor mount that bolts to the block are you referring to? I have the hasport kit, are there other components that I will need to make the swap go in? if i go non obd, can i still run the hondata? i was planning on getting the stage 3 nonB. and thanks for the feedback
Its really not that hard, I converted a DX CRX a couple months back. You will need a new harness(Multi-point FI), extra wire, a soldering iron and about 2 hours. Here are 2 sites that will help you out with the conversion.
