How would I go about gutting my cat? I dont want to hear "buy a testpipe" ect. I just want to know how to do it, im just trying some different **** out, and im bored. SO any suggestions on how to get all that **** outta there?

 

ive heard if you take it off, and heat the insides w/ a torch or something you can throw some cold water in it to break it up. or you could unbolt the catback and have someone rev the engine while you jam a pipe or big drill or something in there.

 

I just used a big screwdriver. Watch out for those heavy metals, though. That **** will mess you up......

my dad had an air gun that was some wat of a mini jack hammer. i gutted my cat in like 5 minutes. if you dont have that then use a long *** screw driver and a hammer.

i wish i never did it. i had to buy a stock cat after that.

when it was gutted it was so damn loud

 

If you gut your cat you will lose hp. When you remove the material from the cat you will create a void that will cause turbulence and mess up your flow. When you use a test pipe it is just a straight smooth pipe.

 

all done, got every bit of that **** outta it. Was a bitch to do, but I felt a nice soild gain with my mods.

 

I used rebar and lots of elbow grease....
