car bogs at like 3 grand and then feels really laggy til vtec hit. i know normally you can not feel vtec engage in the singlecam vtec's, but i think due to this problem, i'm losing alot of power before vtec, then when it hits, i get it all back but then the car seems to struggle between 6000-7000....my set up is a a6 block, z6 head, a6 tranny, z6 manifold, z6 dizzy wired with obd0 plugs, in a 90 si hatch with an obd1 conversion running a stock p28, i-e....

try changing your spark-plugs and wires; if not ckeck your injecters for cracks.

First check your fuel pressure to see if it is low.
