Default How to find Trouble Codes?

Ok, my engine has been idling rough lately, and i've noticed that turning on the air conditioner causes the idle to become higher which alleviates the problem. But i wanted to know where I would look to find the trouble codes? Could someone gimme step by step instructions to see if my car is throwing any codes?

check the ECU, while the ignition is in the #2 slot. i dont know if yours is on the passanger floor board like mine is or not, but check there. right where the passengers feet would rest, under the carpet. if its there count the blinks!

They do show the MIL codes, just not on the ECU anymore, it's done on the dash. Much better IMO
