nope. pull the rods out and have em checked.
Only way to tell is if they are severely bent

rods have to come out the top.

You can check for bent rods WITHOUT pulling the head or the oil pan. You need a old chevy pushrod through the spark plug opening though.

If you pull the head and motor looks like this..........



engine is toast.
