has anyone heard of probe rods. A guy was gonna sell me his forged prob rods for 200 .00 He had them in his boosted h22a, and i never heard of them has anyone and how good are they compared to eagle, i know crower is the best but compared to eagle how are they.

I did hear of them somwhere, i forget where though. off the top of my head i think it was domestic related though.

 

Import Builders sells Probe rods, They stand by them for most of there applications...

Call them and get them to give you some info on them. Or check there site out.

i checked their site and didnt see anything that had probe rods just their own rods.

 

Are we talking about probe brand rods, or rods from a ford probe/ mazda 626/mx6 ?

yeah probe industry rods and they were from an h22a. He told me he was boostin 18psi on them. he also has the JE's 9.0:1 for the motor as well. SHould i get them used or just both rods and pistons new?

 

Instead of getting some rods that youa re unsure of, spend the extra dough and buy a pauter, crower or manley and etc. It's too critical of components to try to save a few bucks and not knowing how well they will perform. I know probe rods and personally I will propably will never run them.

thanks flamenco great point ill go with either the crower or eagles, i never heard of anyone breaking either of those. Also wut about the used Je's that he also has for sale or do you say the same thing about those as well?
