Default How do you remove AN fittings?

I am trying to replace this AN fitting on my fuel pressure regulator line with a curved AN fitting. Do I just twist and pull or what? I have always ran stock fuel lines for years hence the noobish question.

Trying to remove the red/blue fitting.

Replacing it with this
Thanks.

Put a wrench on the thin red wrench flat and another wrench on the bigger red flat. Turn left to loosen and once that has been achieved, slip the collar down and remove the hose from the fitting. Reverse of removal for installation. And mind the steel braid, the individual strands are sharp

Also, consider investing in some aluminum AN wrenches. Looks like someone has gone to town on that fitting with a normal wrench.

Yeah I get that a lot it's a steel braided throttle cable the reason I had tape around the fitting end was to keep it from rubbing and wearing into the fuel line until I got around to installing this new fitting.
