How do you pull off a real tight vacuum hose?

Default How do you pull off a real tight vacuum hose?

Any ideas? Last time I used my hands and the hose just snapped.

get a pair or adjustable head pliers, grip around the hose, grab firmly and rotate.
it breaks all the **** on the inside of the hose free. then it just pops off.

works on coolant hoses also.

That, and push the hose from the open end rather than pull it. Pulling makes it grip tighter in most cases.
