Default how do you identify b16 cable?

i know that they can be either, s1/j1 or ys1 on the serial sticker. but is there any other way to determine from just looking at it?

nothing is 100% accurate unless you crack the case and count the teeth to get the gear ratios. Its a PITA but its better then install only to find out you got ripped for a LS.
