how do you check specs off of a motor?

What is the number just above that one, should be something like B16A or B18B1 or H22A1, the number you list is not a vin number or engine ID number.94

ok maybe i asked the wrong question. lol. i meant like to check as far as if this motor is hot, what year it is, stuff like that. like how can i tell if it came out of a Dc and not a DA so i can bar it.

I would check with Honda, Honda corporate must have a customer support number
Maybe the block serial number can tell you that, I can't find anything on that, but Honda may be able to help.94
