valve lash is easy to adjust all you need to do is get a set of feeler gauges that are the right "size" for your lash. You can tell what your lash is by looking at the sticker on the hood for the ludes i believe its .017.

to adjust valve lash
make sure that you adjust the intake and exhaust to there specifications usually they are different from eachother by a few hundredths
1. take out the spark plugs so the motor will be easier to turn
2. Take off the valve cover
3. Get an assistant to give you a hand
4. Rotate the crankshaft until you see the top of lobes(egg shaped)
5. Take your feeler gauge and stick it under the base of the camshaft if its lose it needs to be adjusted if its to tight and you can't fit it under there well then its to tight.
6. Take a flathead screwdriver and turn the screw either up or down to losen or tighten it respectively.
7. The ideal spot of adjustment is that you should be able to pull the feeler gauge out without it binding, but with just a little bit of resistance such as if the bottom of the lobe was a weak magnet.
8. Once you have it adjusted with your assistants help have him/her hold the screw driver while you tighten the nut down
9. Move onto the next set of valves
10. Rotate the crankshaft and keep doing it until all 16 valves are adjusted.
11. double check to make sure you tightened all the nuts
12. put on the valve cover
13. put in the spark plugs

thats all there is to it

For B series DOHC VTEC I go 0.17mm for the IN and 0.19mm on the EX... In std. form (IN 0.007" / EX 0.008") The order you want to cover them for each 180 degrees crankshaft (90 degrees of camshaft rotation) after TDC is 1-3-4-2... Good Luck
