How do you...?
How do you remove outer door handles on 99 civic dx 2dr? The inside of the door is already taken apart. Just cant get the outer door handle off the car. Seems to be stuck on the locking cylinder.

now go get a helms manual or a $12 one and it will have it in there
and so i dont waste your time compleaty, there is prolly like a pin or a horseshoe shaped thing holding it in, this is from my experience with door locks, never had to deal with a honda one, they dont break
. good luck.

yeah you have to get the lock cylinder out. get some kind of a bent pick tool (radiator hose tool worked for me). i believe the horseshoe shapped clip ( its about the size of a quarter) needs to be pulled downwards. i don't think you can see the clip, just a little intendation that you put the pick in to pull it. DON'T take the e-clip off the back of the lock cylinder other wise all the pins will fall out
