Take out the bolts for the head(and anything else thats left over), then simply pull the head off.

Tranny Should come right off. If NOT then you will have to unbolt the Pressure plate through the Hole where the Starter fits in. The Bearing on the Disk is probably frozen to the Pilot Shaft. Either that or soak that thing in some PB Blaster.

Took me nearly 3 weeks of fighting before i pulled the Pressureplate off and then I had another few days trying to get that Bearing off the Shaft.

Sledge hammer!

Don't just whale on it, though. Start off with little taps. Increase power if needed.

For the trans...make sure you have removed the starter bolts. The rear most bolt threads into the crankcase. Also the rear engine mount connects to both the crankcase and trans case.

Do you have a Helms??? It sounds like this is your first time doing this. You should have a good service manual nearby to reference. In fact you should have already read through it before starting. It would suck to break something that you will have to fix later on, unnessesarily

BUY A HELMS

you need to untorque the head bolts in a SPECIFIC SEQUENCE not doing so could warp the head!!!
