how do i replace obd0 b16 distributor bearing?
my bearing went out and i dont see the point in buying another used one, it will probably just go out again. so does anyone know where i can get a bearing for it? and anyone written anything about replacing that bearing?
dunno bout the bearing in particular, but if youre in a pinch you could always use a non-obd LS dist., just hack one of the legs off and viola!!!
dont you have to hack two legs off... anyways I have a bare B16A1 distributor for sale if you want it... only asking 50 for it so let me know... you would just have to put the internals from your old one into it and presto chango... working dizzy
are you sure that this will time correctly? i'm using a d16 distributor right now.and i hacked one of the legs off....it works..but even fully advanced...the ignition timing is still retarted....so before i go pay for an LS distributor..i want to know for sure that its going to time right

i'm not 100% on whether or not the dist. bearing from a 90-91 integra will work. but if you don't try it how else are you going to find out? it should work. with all of the other similarities between the 90-91 integra dist. and the obd0 B16 dist., i'm fairly certain the bearings are the same.
its a ~$10 part for the bearing. if it does/doesn't work you can share the info and help others out.
