Default How do I pull the diff?

I've got my gearbox down and the case off and am looking at



I am trying to get the fricken diff out. How do I do it? This is from a b16 honda tranny.

PUll the gear sets/shift forks and then you can remove hte diff.

So what do I need to pull? Just the shafts and then the final drive will be sitting there, or do i need to unboplt that then also or what?

Any kind of guide on getting the shafts from the case once I have the forks pulled? I'm not sure how they'll be secured.

Just remove the forward and reverse gear change holders, and pull the gearsets and shift forks straight up.

The gearsets and shift forks come up as one assembly, but after that, the forks can fall wherever they want.

Since i was having a speedo problem, can anyone tell me from looking at it, doesn't it seem that I am missing the speedo drive gear completely?

You have to remove those bolts, the should be left hand threads. then your done.

The speedo drive gear is missing. The bearing should be removed with a puller however some can be removed with screwdrivers IF your careful. What I would like to know is where the drive gear is

edit- i'm 99% sure the drive gears are all the same. Is it a cable or hydro b16 tranny?
