how do i know if my vtec is working

i have a 95 accord, and i have no idea how to figure out if my vtec is kicking in! pleace help

what motor is in it?

you can usually feel/hear vtec if you have a dohc motor.
on sohc motors, it's a little more difficult.

its a sohc engine. the car feels quick but i just want to be sure im running at full potential

get a service manual for ur car it should have a vtec solenoid check procedure in it if u dont know what im talkin' about take it to a honda shop their know

you would more than likely have a check engine light if the vtec circuit was malfunctioning.

you will hear this odd odd nocie that soudns like kertwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang and a lil what feels like jump in horsepower but to be serious now i ahvent really ever felt it on a SOHC
