I just got a gsr swap b18c1 which i think its 94 since the head says 93 on it, but the last owner who had it put it in a ek. I want to know if the dizzy is still obd1 or 2? How do i find out and if its obd2 all i need is a stepdown harness to put it in my ej1?

 

OBD1 distributors have 2 plugs, and OBD2A & B have 1 plug.

 

im guessing mine has a obd2 dizzy cuz mine only has 1 plug

 

since i got a obd2 dizzy wat harness i need to put it in my ej1

 

you need an obd2 harness, everything else should be the same

the only difference on the obd1 harness and obd2 harness are the injector's and the distributor plug. besides that everything else should mate up perfectly. my buddy has a 99 gsr in his 93 civic coupe using the obd2 harness

bump for what? thats an obd2 dizzy

 

just rewire the dizzy. put obd1 plugs on it. thats all i did. it's easy. all wires are color matched. or change the plug on the engine harness. no more need to bump
