Default how do i check breaks in the circuit with an ohmeter??

i tried posting this in ef forum but it seems as though no one can help..anyway i'm throwing code 14 on my pm5 which is my EACV, well i replaced and i'm still throwing the code...

so how do i go about testing each wire for functionality?, its only a 2 wire sensor one black/yellow and the other blue/yellow

Disconnect both ends of the wiring, put your ohm-meter across from the wire to ground. It should read OL or infinite or something like that. No continuity.

Then ground one end of the wire, maybe you need to make up a jumper wire to reach a good ground. Then check your ohm-meter from the other end to ground. NOW it should have good continuity. Like a couple ohms or so.

Make sure you understand the wiring drawing, too. Sometimes a wire will branch somewhere in the middle, so you'll have to disconnect all 3 ends. For example the signal wire from the VSS branches - it goes to both the ECU and the cluster.
