How to datalog RPMs?

To start, I've searched forums left and right and found nothing except for somebody else wondering the same question. My setup is a H22 with a VAFC and an AEM UEGO AFR guage. The AEM UEGO allows for datalogging output, it has 1 0-5v analog output and 1 output to connect to a serial cable for a hyprterminal connection to a computer. Unfortunately, no RPM data is gathered when sending the AFR through the serial cable so it is hard to tell which rpm range needs correction. I am wondering if there is a way to datalog RPMs, possibly on the same serial cable and have the hyperterminal program record the AFR along with the RPM reading at the same time. I know the h22 has an auxillary RPM output in the engine bay for diagnostics, it is probally analog. When connected to hyperterminal, the AFR output is simply read out one after anothereach reading. It would be awesome if there was a way to have the RPM at each reading right next to the AFR reading in the hyperterminal program. Maybe some programming is needed instead of using hyperterminal, but I would still like both the AFR and RPM to be read into the same serial cable. The AEM guage only uses 2 pins, 1 data and 1 ground, which leaves 7 open. I know this tuning setup isn't high tech or anything compared to most on here, but it works well for what I need, I just want to fine tune it better. Thanks
Do your self a favor. Ditch the vafc & get a obd1 ecu tuning solution like Hondata or Neptune RTP. You will be able to log everything from RPMS, o2 voltage/air fuel, intake air temperature, coolant temps etc. You will also be able to tune ignition timing tables etc...

I know all this and would definately get a different tuning method if starting over, but the VAFC and AEM guage are pernamently installed and do everything I currently need, I'm just looking for a way to datalog RPMs along with the wideband 0-5v output so I can better fine tune. I don't really want to spend anymore money except for fabricating a cable or two and don't want to have to get a chipped ecu to do this. If only I remembered more from mechatronics class project haha. I remember doing all sorts of programming from hypreterminal for various voltages, but don't remember how or anything. I think maybe a PEL4 or PIC controller though is what we used in that class. Does Hondalog or Hulog work with a stock ecu and is there a way to add the 0-5v wideband o2 to the data stream?

I think you can log the stock ECU with Freelog...
But no, you cannot input a wideband voltage to a stock ECU

Yes definitely...
