how to check TDC
my crank pulley key fell out and i am waiting on honda to get some in
i kno my cams are off....
how can i check if it is TDC to adjust the cams

I just posted this yesterday and hopefully it should help you so here it is again... As for telling if the cam sprockets are at top dead, make sure the two arrows are pointing up, then align the two ticks... For the IN cam it will be at nine-o-clock and for the EX at three-o-clock... It's not hard at all...
And just a tip, you may have to try getting it right a couple times. When changed my timing belt, I would align the crank, the tighten the tensioner and TDC would change.

Yup, forgot about that cuz i normally don't set cams to top dead with them (for me, just for torquing down the sprockets) On a VTEC head the holes will be in the cam rails... on a nonVTEC such as the B18A/B or B20B/Z they'll be located in the timing belt side cam cams... Latez
