I know it sounds simple to some of you tech heads but I have never done it. Anything I should know? Does anyone have a picture or guide?

 

just yank it out, make sure the engine is cool though esp if you have a gsr. getting your hand stuck on a 200 degree i/m sucks!!

 

Why do you want to replace it? Just curious.

 

i just like replacing stuff every so often. should i wait? plus, my gas mileage could be better, i thought it might help. I get like 28-30 hwy and 23 city in my GSR. Maybe I'm just being too cautious with this car.

 

I very rarely see a bad PCV valves on fuel injected Hondas. I don't think the PCV system has much effect on fuel mileage. (But I could be wrong.)

Why not change it. It can cause bad fuel mileage and it is only a $2 part. It is easy to change on a GSR just a little hard to reach. When you get the old one out put it up to your ear and shake it. If it rattles it is still good. Oh no you just wasted $2.

where the hell did you get it for $2!!! Acura sells it for $17.00!!! And the local stores sell cheapo aftermarket ones for $10.
