Default How to adjust cam gears?

Can someone give me a step by step write up on how to adjust cam gears on a b series motor?

this is my understanding of how to do it. Correct me if i'm wrong.

1. Remove Valve cover
2. Set motor to TDC
3. Loosen appropriate cam gear bolts (intake or exhaust)
4. Turn crank to retard or advance to approriate setting
5. Tighten cam gear bolts
6. Turn crank to make sure everything is ok
7. Put valve cover on
8. Done

Thanks!

Pretty sure you can skip step 2, I've never done that when adjusting my cam gears. Other than that you have everything right.

#2 is not needed.

the only step you're forgetting is the part where you strap it to the dyno.
