Default Houston we have a problem! (code 15)

Well I've gotten myself into a bit of a predicament here... Today I set out to swap my rigged PM6 over to the proper PR3 vtec ecu. The swap went pretty smooth, I was unsure of a few things but got them handled thanks to a board member. So after I had the 4 wires ran(vtec sole, pressure, knock, and 2nd o2) I plugged in the pr3 ecu and tried to start the engine..... No start.... ARRRGGGHHH. So I checked everything over again, and found nothing out of place, tried again... ****!....

The pr3 ecu is throwing a code 15. Ignition output signal. Could this be the cause of a no-start? Before the swap, the PM6 ecu would throw this code as well, although intermittently. The pm6 ecu would only throw this code if I was decelerating and downshifting, and I don't believe I ever saw the code thrown in any other circumstance. Even with the code thrown the car still ran fine....

So after a few minutes alternately scratching my head, and *****, I decided to try the PM6 ecu, to see if it would start. Plug in the ecu, turn the key, boom she fires right up. HMMMM... Swap back to PR3, turn the key, nothing.....

I can smell fuel so that is not a problem. I wanted to test for spark but I was all by my lonesome with nobody to turn the key for me, however with the precense of fuel I'm 99.9% sure the no-start is due to lack of spark.

I have a helms manual so I no the procedure to test for a short, or bad ignitor, I'll do them tomorrow....

What I don't get is how it could be either of those if the PM6 fires her right up?

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELP ME.

OK... Did some tests and I'm still not getting anywhere...

I have voltage at the black/yellow wire at the dizzy.

I checked the B15(wht) and B17(wht) ecu pins for approx 10volts of juice as per helms and they both had 2.75v instead of 10v.

I then tested the 2 white wires on the dizzy and came up with 6.74 volts on only one of the wires, the other showed a .01 reading. Does this mean the ignitor is bad? If so, how could it be if the cars still starts and runs with the pm6?

Please somebody throw me a bone here...

Ok, another lil bit off info...

I did a continuity test and found that both b15 and b17 end up on the same pin on the dizzy harness. So basically these wires are spliced together somewhere along the engine harness before they get to this pin. Pin= X

...000...
.X000...
...000...

Is this kosher? Or should these signals be seperate?

Other than this I can't really find any explaination for why the car won't fire.

I've narrowed it down to 3 things.

1. Ignitor.(not likely, car runs fine with pm6)

2. Ignition output wire(s) are not proper.(very likely as the pm6 throws this code sometimes)

3. ECU is defective(possible, helms advises to test with a known working, and replace)

I'm gonna get a hold of a buddy with a b16a and see if my ECU will run in his car. That will atleast determine if the ECU is at fault.

If anyone has an idea of what to check or do, please by all means post it up.

Thanks
