Horrible Exhuast HELP!!!!!!!!!!
ok, my skunk2 muff is coming tomorow, and im taking it to the shop and having them put all new piping in. my friend says it will suck, and by taking the resonator off, it will sound alot better, so, what can i do with stock cat and res. with muff, and new piping to make it sound better, i dont want to be so loud. sorry its so confusing. btw they didnt make full exhuast for my car.
with no resonator it will sound like a bumble bee farting.
if you want it to sound somewhat reasonable have all the pipeing replaced with a good resonator in the center to help tone it down a little.
for optimal performance you would want maybe 1/4" larger than stock pipeing allong with a high flow cat-converter. AND all mandrel bent.....

ok, so keep the resonator and move it as close to the middle as possible? I hate the bee cars, i dont want one. So wouldnt the high flow cat make it louder?
the resonator will only fit in the center of the b-pipe........they factory one is probably fine but if your gonna replace the whole exhaust with larger piping your gonna have to replace the resonator as well......
the high flow cat might make it a little louder but there's not much you can do about it.......the factory ones are good for the environment but kinda hurt exhaust flow.........
with a cat, big resonator and a muffler i don't think you will be excessively loud.......should sound pretty good

i think the stock pipes are about 2" maybe even smaller in some places.........the stock exhaust can be pretty restrictive.....
if your gonna replace your whole exhaust you might as well step up to 2.25" compete exhaust........
