Default Hooking up an Electric fan

I have a fal fan but iwant to hook it up to a toggle switch in the car so i can make it come off and on ..after runnin gthe engine awhile the fan doesn catch upto the heat and everythign starts to get hot and run shitty.. any help on how to wire this.

Its simple. You can just wire the negative and positive to the battery. And just add a switch anywhere to the positive wire. Make sure there is enough pos. wire to run to the inside of the car and to the place you wanna mount the switch. This will make the fan to be controlled ONLY by the switch. IT will NOT turn on automatically.
