alright i have a gsr swapped eg hatch thats currently running on hondata s200, i have been working on it for a couple of weeks now and today i took it out for a drive.... it ran great until i launched it and went to hit second but it didnt engage causing me to rev pass 9000 rpm ... i let off and looked in the mirror to see a cloud of smoke... so i pulled in to the driveway and my car was ideling around 2k rpm and then idle started to fluctaute. Motor isnt knocking or making any noices but lost power and is ideling bad along with smoke. Anybody have a clue to might what have happened to my motor. it isnt throwing any codes and i checked vaccum hoses but found no leaks. IM LOST...

 

also checked timing and tried a stock ls ecu but still same results.

 

maybe bent some valves? idk

 

Time to do a compression test and leakdown test

 

valve floated and bent

 

a bent valve will cause idle issues?

 

Alot of things can affect idle issues.

 

its now idleling at regualar rpms, but when i rev it it will fluctuate as its returning back to idle??
