ok, 93 del sol si, 99 jdm itr swap, bolt on's w/hondata 2.5 and its been tuned

the tuner said he set the rev limiter at 9k but i noticed when i upshift and miss the needle went beyond 9k and threw the check engine light but no cell was ever given when checked

after taking it back in he set the rev limiter to 8.4k then free-rev'd it to 9k, once again the rev limiter wasnt working

for some reason or another everytime he sets the rev limiter on the computer then puts it in my car it dosnt work, my car has 0 rev limiter even though the chip says its set


he is usuing version 3.0 software to tune and my hondata is 2.5, everything else run's smooth but i really dont like seeing my needle being thrown past 9 grand

i really dont feel like forking out $300 for msd ignition as a solution to my rev limiter problem, dosnt seem logical to me
