hondata help please......

Default hondata help please......

well i got rid of my p30 and got a p28 hondata prepped and i purchased a eprom chip too, a bare one just to get it started. well it turns over but no start. i have no clue why. the chip is pluged in the correct way. everything is connected. i even took the negative off the battery for a while to restart things. anyone know any possible reasons why it isnt starting.

Are you saying you bought a bare chip thats not programmed (empty) or you bought a chip thats not custom programmed (with a base program)?

there are alot of problems that my friends and i are facing with hondata. try to see if the red light is on.... many of the problems exist in ythe connections....

guys me... i bought a blank chip. im not too familiar with hondata chips. i totally mixed things up.

You have to have a chip with a burnt program on it before you can start. If you have the program on the chip already, then check to see if the red light is glowing on the hondata blue box. If its a steady red light, then your chipped ecu is bad or you have a mis-burned chip. If the light is steadily blinking, then the chip is inserted backwards. If so, you probably already fried the chip. Hondata is simple once you know how to set it up.
