HondaLogger HELP!!

HondaLogger HELP!!
I have finally gotten a laptop and cable to connect it to the hondata box. I have hondalogger intstalled on my computer but i am not able to connect to the ECU. The cable i am using is a serial to USB cable i got at Radioshack. Is this a computer problem, if so could some please help me. Thanx

what comp are you using ? some people are having trouble with the serial to usb (getting it to work properly)the problems were with dells i believe . someone correct me if i am wrong
