Any free software out there that does was HondaLogger does without the $500 price tag?

Not at the moment, what makes it work is the rom that you solder into your ecu, the datalogging is only compatible with certain roms. (ecu must be chipped)

Right now there are no logging roms for the p13, but you dont have to use that ecu to run your car. I dont know what would be best, but i think you could get away with a P30 or P72. or you could wait till someone gets a rom made for the p13.
