Default Honda TRX350 Reverse Problem

I have a 2004 TRX350 Rancher with electric shift. When the engine is cold I have a difficult time shifting into reverse. When the engine is warm it's better but still not really good. I have adjusted the shift cable but it didn't have any effect. I lubricated the cable and the arm it connected to. Anyone else have this problem and find a fix for it?

how much run time do you have on it? some of the utility bikes are "stiff" untill you get some miles on them. i know the 420s are that way.
