honda powered dune buggy
I am building a ra il buggy powered by an A20 accord engine. I am needing some advise on how to do the wiring. As to which wires in the harness I need for it to start and run. I'm not sure on that part of it. If anyone has some advise or point me in the right direction I would very much appreciate it. Thanks
Carbureted or fuel injected?
you really need to be working with an engine wiring diagram for the accord to get this right and do any needed troubleshooting to get it going.
you'll need to wire up the alternator, starter, battery, some ground wires, the distributor coil and ignitor... you'll need more if you're running fuel injected.

i would start with the dash and engine harness from the donor car, get those plugged in together and to the engine, then get your grounds and power source hooked up.
then start with the loose plugs leftover and strip those out with their attached wires. probably a lot of lighting stuff as well as various dash items like ac, radio, etc. verify everything with the factory wiring diagram of course...
that is basically what i did when I wired a d16a6 into a late 70s civic...

Good advise. That would prob be my best option for making sure it's fully wired without missing anything. Then as you said started going thru and removing the excess. That's what I will Do. Thanks again
