Prototype Racing

They make those conversions plus a nice new lightweight set of roller rockers.

I like the straight intake pipe. That couldn't hurt either.

there was a lotus elise (i think elise) in sport compact car a couple months back, it had a integra type R motor and it ran a 12.33, they tested the lotus against a mustang cobra R and the lotus smote it in quarter mile and on the twistys. just thought yall might like to know.

I know for a fact that lotus has used honda engines in their cars before. Like the one mentioned above that smote the cobra r. They may be doing it again.

It's a K20 motor. The S2000 motor is an F20C1 and it's coming soon

lotus doesn't use honda engines as OEM solutions, they currently use a Rover engine producing ~120hp (in the markets they are currently in, and in the soon to be US spec elise). the honda swaps you've seen have either been from Prototype racing (who are in the process of developing a bellhousing to mate the k20 to the F20c so they can put the f20c in the back of an elise/exige), or Sun Industries with their ~220whp b18c5.

it was Sun Industries elise in sport compact car.

Double checked your info and you're right. Well it was a friend that worked at a honda dealership that told me that but im glad someone corrected me before I made myself sound really stupid. I guess anyone can be misinformed. Hehe now I get to go make him look like an idiot.

OK!, that car is a lotus EXIGE, it comes with a 1.8L engines, so it's the integra engine. That car has been around quite a few years, it's kinda the brother of the Lotus Elise, but it's a lil stronger, it's more of as racing car than the elise.
It is fast as hell and it's pretty awesome.
