Default Honda b16a1 in a Mini Cooper

Hi,

This has been asked before, I know that, but I have been unable to find a definitive answer to my specific question.

I've bought a Mini race car with the B16a already mounted (axles and everything fine). What I need to ask is what is the EASIEST and most cost effective way of connecting the engine to the ECU? The previous owner has cut the wire harness and left it in a complete mess. Since this is a race car I strictly speaking don't need the interior/lights part at all. Just the engine bit is what is needed.

Any suggestions?

Its been done, there are kits, pricey...

If you want to do it yourself than you'll need both the Honda FSM and the Mini couper specific to your year FSM.

Yep, Honda engine harness w/ECU plug(s) and then connect the mini harness to it, [mini harness leads that are needed]. 94
