High Mileage Vechicles
SORRY if this has been out already, but i need a quick one maybe a good reply by tomorrow. I want to know what is considered "high mileage" to those hondas. Theres a sale on a few h/b's EG's and EK's and i want to ask what we should ask the dealership/private seller. and yeah thats basically it, how long do they last and such. cuz i wanna get one as a driver to school and back home. jus wondering. THANKS in advance..

i think the term high mileage is subjective, because one car can have a lot of miles, but 100% highway, and another can have half the miles that the first one has, but all city miles; stop and go, stop and go...
having said that, hondas are known to be resilient, especially the engines and manual transmissions, so whats considered high mileage for, say, a ford, may not be such high mileage for a civic.
to me..id say 130k+ is high for a honda, whatever that means. my civic has 160k+, runs great and is dead reliable.

my eg has 300k on the stock powertrain...my brothers prelude 260k, both of my room mates cars (da and bb6 lude) have over 200k, I don't consider a honda to have high mileage until 180k+ and even then as long as they have good compression who cares
