Default High Idle

As soon is i start my car the idle shoots straight up to 4200rpm and stays.I belive its the air idle control because the black plastic housing on it is cracked clean through.Im gonna replace that anyway but i was wondering could it be anything else the map or any other sensor.I have a B18b!

If the housing is cracked, remove it and plug the two holes on the back of the manifold where it gaskets to, and turn it over. If it idles really low after blocking that, that IACV sure sounds like your culprit.
