Default high idle 99 gsr

yes i have searched

i have a 1999 gsr that was idleing up and down ever since its been tuned on crome pro.. with 525cc

i changed tha iac valve, and after changing it the idle now stays at 2000 rpm,... i cant find a vacuum leak anywhere, i took off and cleaned the t/b and even replaced it with a different 99 gsr tb,..and it still idles high

this is a obd2 so the tb doesnt have the ficv that i have read about in other post

also whenever i cover the top hole inside the tb( i think it goes to the idle screw) the idle goes down,..if i cover it fully the engine shuts off....

i am now thinking about replacing the tb gasket

also my boost gauge stays at 21" of vacuum

do this... take your TB out theres a little plate thats at the bottom behide the TB that has 2 phillips head screws holding it on... open that and check to see if the spring is all the way out... if it is SCREW it back in a bit and put everything back together then start your car and let it warm up... GOOD LUCK
