Default hf im on si head ???

anybody know if the hf intake will bolt on a si head or even the dx head?? i thought they would but the hf and si intake gasket are two different numbers. but the si and dx are the same. i know the dx and si are 16 valve and the hf is 8. is that the reason cause the ports are smaller on the hf head?? any help greatly appreciated

who cares why he wants to do it... he wants to know if it fits.

the answer is yes. it will bolt right on. All d series SOHC engines have compatible intake and exhaust manifolds.

It is true, however, that the HF manifold is a pea shooter, with a throttle body thats about the size of a half dollar. It will work in a pinch if you have nothing else, or in case you're doing a multiport swap on an 88-91 DX/STD and just need a MPFI manifold. If you're looking for performance, you need to look a little harder and find a d16a6/d16z6/d15b7/d16y8 intake manifold

reason i ask is cause this kid i know has 10k in a 90 crx si that he tried to weld a delsol roof onto. it was a si car and he has now given up on it. he bought a hf crx now with a blown motor and i am putting the motor in for him in exchange for the f uped crx. i have welded a new roof on it and now all is good. hes pissed. but never the less he bought a si motor with no intake mani on it so thats why i was wondering if the hf intake would bolt on the si head. if that answers your question. damn i was just asking if anyone had done it not why. thanks for your reply though bud
