Default Hey guys! newbie here... fuel riser failure? is it likely?

Hello everyone, my names Dustin and I'm a race-aholic...

I have a newly built setup that hasn't been tuned yet, which I ran on a dyno today to check things out. the boost is set around 6psi during this run, and the A/F went off the chart lean. The test was stopped at 3.5k rpm so I don't have to buy another motor (yet).

I'm just wondering if anyone can look at my setup and check out this A/F curve and let me know what they think could be the problem (bad fuel riser, injectors saturated, etc..)

here's a link to my setup (mod list at bottom of first page):

Hopefully the Hondata will fix this

Thanks in advance for any help!

ive got a couple questions

what is your fuel setup? (exact setup, everything from pump to pressure regulator)

and are you using anything like a SAFC or VAFC for mixture control?

here's all I have right now:
- STR fuel rail
- Holley 255lph fuel pump
- B&M fuel regulator
- Vortech fuel riser
no vafc

I don't know the fuel raise ratio, and this is with stock injectors (B16A2 motor).
the thing is, I had this setup running before I had the motor rebuilt (second time) and I didn't run out of fuel like this. It seems like the fuel raiser is not doing its job all of a sudden. something must have changed with the fuel setup when the motor was rebuilt? Only thing I knew of is one injector was replaced because they said it went bad, and they replaced it with Botch. did I miss any info?

well here is what i was always taught for hondas that are boosted

If you use:

intank pump, get injectors

inline pump, get a FMU

now is the pump inline or intank?

You already have all that money into the motor, when not spend a little more and get yourself a standalone like Hondata. That would solve all your problems and make your car run extremely well.

hmm, I don't know if its inline or intank. I bought this car with the turbo setup already on it, I'm still learning about the stuff I have. I thought the fuel pump was mounted on my firewall with the fuel gauge on it??

If thats not it then I guess it's intank...

I have the Hondata (S100 w/ boost) on order along with 780cc injectors. hopefully when I install those and take out the fuel riser, my problems will go away.
I would like to find out root cause before I start changing parts though.

ok, I'm pretty sure that what I circled abuve was the fuel filter, and my fuel pump is intank (I figured that out on my own). so now you know what kind of beginner your dealing with

use the b&m to bump up the pressure so you get more fuel in the engine.
