help wit secondarys
i have a 92 civic we did a swap into in of a 97 integra gsr we did the conversion from obd2-obd1 my problem is that the second stage of vtec is throwing late like around 7500 rpms and every once in awhile it is not throwing at all any one can help i greatly appreciate it thanx...
Check your wiring, check for vacuum leaks and correct vacuum routing. The IAB wont throw a code if its wired I think, but that doesn't mean its wired correctly
It would be idling funny, and it would stutter when you sprayed carb and choke cleaner around where you think the leak my be coming from. That's just a small possibility, it sounds more like a loose wire or something of that nature.
ok i was out today looked over all the wiring everything looks fine the car idles fine and it seems to have no vacumm leak i went out for a drive car was warm and the secondarys did not open till 7500 again they are there but they are just coming way late anyone have any other ideas...
i also noticed that where the computer is boltd in on the passenger side that there are only two bolts in the front of the computer it is missing the two in the back wuld that have any grounding issues to make it do this....

my ecu is not bolted in with ANY bolts. mine just sits there and has no grounding issues, so im guessing its not grounded from there.
makes removing the ecu easier for anti-theft =] but sucks when your car runs weird right after putting it back in =[
