Alright here is the deal.

I got a GSR head in the mail. Now the casing on the vtec solenoid was kind of cracked so it didn't fit on totally without bending a bit and hanging down. So, we tightened it up and put some electrical tape around it. The connection itself wasn't damaged.....but I still have a check engine light. This is after I unplugged my ecu and plugged it back in. Now should I undo the electrical tape and clean it or check for wiring problems? Then, tape it back up and see if it'll work. Any ideas on what could be causing it to still throw a code, anyone else had this problem.

Phiz is about an hour away so he'll be here shortly to tune the car. We talked about this on the phone last night and he said he would check it out and its probably a wiring problem. But I wanted to see if there could be something else I could check.....because if not looks like im **** out of luck and that means I wouldn't be able to tune the gsr...god I hope its fixable.

sounds like it may be clogged up on the filter or maybe a wiring problem not much wiring to it though
