please help I have a problem with my transmission!
I already know what it is it the syncro that works with my third gear
and it only happens when I go up to around 6800 rpms or higher.

what I really need to know is if anyone knows where to get some syncros for a
1992 acura ls and what the price is for them.

Please help, and if I don't get a chance to say it thanks.

 

just get a new tranny. the 3-4 synchro will cost u 300 from honda and installation will cost at least 300.

 

check the shift linkage first before you assume its the syncro, alot of times people think they have a syncro going bad when a nuts is just slightly loose.

just check every bolt on it and tighten it, a while back my car grinded in 3rd and 4th come to find out there was just a bolt that was barely loose.

 

6800 is revving the engine pretty good, but what type of oil is in your transmission ? I had the same problems with my trans., but I changed the oil I put in when I bought the car about a year ago. Like a dumb *** which I know now, you are not supposed to put 80/90 gear oil in the trans of a 91 Civic. I put 5/30 and my gear clash went away.
Probably not your cause, but leave no stone unturned!
