baught the block from teg_racer with about 2000 miles on it...and used my stock gsr head with itr cams....it drove for about a week...then i took it on the highway and my battery light came on...when i tapped on my gas pedal..one of my belts squeeled like it was loose or something...which im pretty sure was my alternator built because my battery light came on..then after the squeel it seemed ok... because the motor was still on the whole time...then i took an exit and i couldnt rev past 3000rpm..so i pulled over and turned off the car and checked out my engine bay to see if anything was loose..everything seemed fine..so i turned on my car and it drove fine again...so i decided to check my timing with the gun again..and i couldnt see my tdc mark anymore so im guessing when my alternator stop spinning and then got back into action..it threw off my timing...so i tried messing with the dizzy to see if i could get it to where i could see the tdc mark on the crank pulley but no luck..so i took it for a spin...it seem to run better retarded..so i floored it but it was laggin alot...and i noticed alot of power loss...so i took it back into my garage and re-did my timing from lining up tdc mark on crank pulley and cam gears..tried starting it and that was the end of it...cranks but doesnt turn on..tried diff batteries and sparkplugs...have fuel and spark...but still nothing...so thats the whole story..ahahah....had three different people check my timing...three diff suggestions..tried them all but nothing...dizzy was corroded...so baught a used one with bad coil and replaced the coil with bnib coil..but still nothing...tried to different ecus and did compression test...and shyt...felt like i just wrote a dayem essay ahahahha

I know you've probably heard this from alot of the other posts but check your connections? unplug any sensors while working on it? try a leak down test? you may be able to get better results or answers with that. I hope this isn't the case, but maybe you have bent valves. I didnt see anything about checking to see if you have fuel getting to the motor. does the motor even sound like its trying to start?

remember as long as there isnt anything wrong with the pgm-fi circuit. the motor needs 4 things to run. air, fuel, ignition, and good compression.

your getting spark but check to make sure your plugs aren't soaked from fuel.

im hoping its not bent valves..if i had bent valves..my compression would be messed up...but with a compression test even though its low since the car has been sitting for awhile..its still 130 across the board....

I edited my post ealier. but you can put in just a few drips of oil in the cylilnder to seal the rings to get a better compression reading as long as you have some juice in the battery to give it a good couple cranks.

yeah i know...but then the thing is that the comp is steady throughout all cylinders...so it all results to my timing...which i had to redo and now my car is dead...again i've done timing to many times with b series and i always set it the way i do...but still nothing...no CEL because it wont show if car doesnt turn on to read it...possible bad ground wire? or how can you tell if the ground wires are bad?

and no plugs arent soaked...i leave em out after i try to start it....so the fuel would evaporate...again i have steady compression fuel and spark
