Default help tail lights

Today i took off my factory spoiler, and i disconnnected it from the female, male plugs. and i tested my lights then they worked. while i went to put away the spoilermy friend connected the two plugs together. and now my tail lights wont work when i brake. they turn on when i put the head lights up or just day lights. but they wont go when i push on the brake. Anyone know what could be the problem. i have checked the fuze and it seems to be ok

im not sure what the problem is but that seems to be very common..it would be easier if you had a wireing diagram of the circuit so you can trace the problem.

theirs the positive and a negative wire that runs to the spoiler and my friend connected them. while i went to put the spoiler down and pushed the light. and thats when my brake light stoped working. so im pretty clueless to what happend. my guess is i shorted the wire? because the fuses seem good unless theirs another fuse i dont know about

if your fuse is good then you have an OPEN somewhere in the circuit.
