i have a piston and rod lsvtec with valve springs and retainers on stock sleeves...
it made 408and 306 on 4th gear pull on pump gas...and after dyno it started to misfire...it has a hairline crack in number 3 cylinder... is 400 hp to much for stock sleeves and pump gas...i have seen it on many other cars.. or do you think it was just a freak accident...what numbers do you guys see with pump gas and stock sleeves...
i found gsr block forcheap so i am putting my ls crank and what not in the gsr block... hopefully it will not crack another sleeve... if it does i will be forced to sleeve the next one
