Default ECU working only when cold?

hi guys,

i just imported an EG6 with a JUN chipped ecu. The car will start up for 1 second and die off. Took me a long time to pin point the problem with the ECU. This particular ECU needs to be warm before it operates properly. I used a hair dryer, warmed it up and it fires up the car instantly with no problems. As soon as it cools off, the problem's back again.

What can be wrong inside? Can it be repaired?

on some old ecu's the solder inside breaks off, so when the ecu is cold the circuits/terminals or whatever is broke wont touch and make connection(dont know if im explaining myself well); then when warm it will expand and reconnect again.
